Recommendable Image Hosts?

Image bam looks good, no band width limitations,
looks like images are stored forever too

I do find IV can be quicker to upload , but Florian who runs the ImageBam forum is always quick to respond to any problems or queries and having a dedicated guy who will help - is priceless

Yes Ive found image venue very reliable in past 6 months and the
multi upload is great.
its just the guff and porn that appears for the poor downloader !
maybe imagebam and imgbox are better in that regard ?

That guff as you call is whats paying for the FREE unlimited storage

There has to be a trade off where the free host has a way of paying for the server bandwidth which we end users tend to over use because VEF has no limits in place besides the v-bulletin maximum posts per post of 125 pics

Just recently ad-block plus has started letting sites which arent invasive with their ads through the net for the simple reason they cant surivive without it.

premium personal & commercial memberships will only get them so far

The choice is pretty obvious....

Put up with the Ads,start limiting the number of images allowed in a single post
or expect restrictions sooner rather than later.

We've already seen imagebam re-design its set-up and break up the big galleries into smaller bite sized galleries...expect this will keep repeating itself as they aim to reduce their bandwidth costs

Imagevenue has worked well for me for many months. I used to use Imagebam but it started getting unstable so I switched.

Since Imagevenue is working fine, my attitude is if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I've been using Imagebam for thumbnails when i post video clips. I have been using them for a few months now without any problems. Uploading is very quick and easy and i have never had any pictures fail to open or disappear. I now have a few hundred pictures stored and adding more all the time so obviously no upload limits.
