I'd prefer "Doctor Who" stay on Saturdays - call me a stick-in-the-mud, but to me that's where it belongs....

Better on Sunday in a fixed time slot than being bounced around the schedule on Saturday thanks to the varying length of the tedious 'dancing' show.

I think that this series will be judged by how Jodie does but let's give her a chance before any criticism is leveled at the BBC-I fully expect a lot of fans to not like it, but I think the vast majority of fans including kids will love it...no one actually said the Time Lord was male-well now its a Time Lady. Bring it on! Mind you one thing I am not too happy about Bradley Walsh-really? He doesn't strike me as assistant material...I'm happy to be proved wrong of course

I like to think we Whovians are a forgiving lot and will happily accept Ms Whittaker as long as we get our fix. As I have said time and time again over the life of the series old and new...'he leaving....oh no! There'll never be another doctor as good as him!' Somehow there always was.

I've no evidence for this, but I suspect the long, loose coat is meant to hide what is reasonably a sexy body.

Give it and her a chance to develop-one episode does not a series make. Let it show several episodes and then deliver a verdict-don't condemn it on just that opener!
