Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

I don't think you can get a Mac version of MPC. I wanted it for my Linux Ubuntu OS as well, but it wasn't supported. I ended up pulling Linux from my computer entirely because of the lack of software, particularly in the freeware area.

I know that there is a VLC for Mac version, but it won't make multi-frame previews from a video like MPC. AVS 4 You might do that since I believe that they support MAC, but I'm not certain. You might PM Hermit-Tech, a great guy and friend of mine, as he has AVS 4 You for Windows and he might know!
