pics 4, 6, 7,8,10, 12, 13 & 14 are infected.

firefox prevents the opening of the image and the invasion of virus.

It is preferable not to post with imgevenue.

I think the prob is not imagevenue in the first place. If u check the safebrowsing diagnostic site:

u can read about it.
I think advertising popups of third parties could be the reason. I think imagevenue will react soon and firefox will remove theese messages. This is happened to many sites already. I think it is no reason to ban imagevenue immediately. Lets check what the next days will bring. I use imagevenue for years now and if u compare it with other hosters, which are often popup hells, it is very comfortable to use.
Btw. chrome and ie dont block the pics.

Well by example if you mean a link, it is happening for all imagebam links. Do not see any problem with other hosts. And the output is well, the about blank page. Only the link is the image link instead of about blank. Tried both Chrome and FF. Hope this helps.

I believe that I can speak for most, if not all, posters when saying

we don't want to get a bad name for something we didn't do

because we don't want people to say "hey, that <member name> is a bad person as he/she is trying to pass me malware.

But -like said in previous posts- it isn't usually the host that is responsable for such things. Just know that "free" doesn't exist, there is always someone who is paying the bills and those who pay the bills are entitled to use publicity for their business, so that they can earn their money back by attracting new customers (so watch out for all the "download here" buttons you'll see on most hosts).

This said, I took the opportunity to write imagevenue (imagevenue@gmail.com) to tell them about the alerts in the hope that this would not only help them but will also make them move.

Had a warning from google chrome when clicking for a film in the classic movie section. Backing away and trying again brings the same result.

It's a problem for Imagevenue, we cannot do anyting about it. It affects everybody, advertisers & members will pull out, if this continues.
I hope that they can fix it, we don't want to ban this host.
Half off all the images are stored on ImageVenue.
