Apparently 100 students at Cambridge have called for the English Literature course to be less about white male writers and have more BME content. Anyone got a road map to Heathrow for the poor little darlings.

That's how the brigade get minority groups active in PC crap, the courses should consist of what's relevant no matter the colour of the author and not fill a race quota. Wouldn't matter to me if it was 95% black as long as it was more relevant.

It appears that what we have here is a ridiculous complaint afforded a platform by virtue of nothing more than blatant media manipulation. And MSN has the gaul to accuse others of being a public menace..

According to MSN:

This title looks wholly misleading: racist according to whom? Kellogg's? I think not; they merely apologised for any offense that may have been taken. That is in no way a declaration of their intent.

Oh but do go on..

"To be completely honest, the Where’s Waldo–y theme makes very little sense"..

Again, according to whom? It's clearly a puzzle (ref: wording) aimed at children, not adults. Any more straws you may wish to clutch..

This appears to be yet another intentionally misleading statement - I refer to Saladin Ahmed's Twitter post, below:

"hey @KelloggsUS why is literally the only brown corn pop on the whole cereal box the janitor? this is teaching kids racism.."yes its a tiny thing, but when you see your kid staring at this over breakfast and realize millions of other kids are doing the same…"

As clearly shown, his agenda here is racial.

But back to MSN:

"None of the characters are carrying shopping bags, and nearly all of them qualify as some sort of public menace".

As already pointed out, the artwork is a puzzle aimed at children, utilising their perceptive skills in order to find the clues and thus reward them for bringing some form of order.

Amidst such chaos the ONLY character shown to be doing any perceived 'work' is a janitor..a darker-coloured janitor. How come MSN and Saladin Ahmed aren't pointing out any possible racist assumptions regarding white people only being there to cause chaos? Are they also suggesting that dark-skinned people should be denied positions of janitor? Are they suggesting there's something wrong with the actual position?

Or is it simply a case they saw not that which is present, but merely that which they sought to exploit? I find not only the complaint but also the manner in which MSN appears to have upheld it to be quite telling in so far as exposing what I consider to be the scandalous abuses of power and deception being employed..

Collins Thesaurus says the two words are synonymous. So perhaps not so much an invention. Sadly, as the Poke says, the person in question has had a load of offensive trolling.My beef with this person is her attitude not her gender or her race.
