From the 1978 British horror film "Terror" we have the stunning looking Mary Maude playing a 18th century lady. Absolutely gorgeous actress, I remember seeing "Crucible Of Terror" and being so let down at the lack of a lesbian scene (apart from some beach ball throwing, and sun-tan lotion action)...among other things.

Mary Maude In Crucible Of Terror
This one is a particularly bitter let down to remember, but I really wanted to see Millie played by actress Mary Maude, and Marcia played by Judy Matheson to get it together in a sapphic way in the cheesy horror movie "Crucible Of Terror".
Judy's character is a fairly predatory lesbian/bisexual(?) who has the hots for Mary's, but all we get is them doing girly things together like throw a beach ball to each other on the beach, rubbing sun-tan lotion on each other, and Marcia brushing Millie's hair...before something nasty happens with acid (not the drug). I had not seen this movie in twenty years, but it used to be on all the time during late-night TV back in the early 90's, they even used the scene of Marcia opening her bedroom door and saying "You came after all"(meaning Millie) between ad breaks and the next show. I always thought films like this really missed out on the chance to have cute "twist" endings where the lesbian saves the day, and gets the girl.
