Did you know that Trump has a fear or phobia of steps and slopes? If he comes here somehow they will have to keep him away from anything sloping or with steps-which begs the question how on earth does he board Air Force One or the presidential helicopter as they both have steps up!
The more France is tired of Neo-liberalism the better chance Le Pen has.

Serena Williams: Ilie Nastase heard making derogatory comment
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/39674903

As Romanian player Simona Halep was answering a question in English about Williams' pregnancy at Friday's Fed Cup draw in Constanta, the 70-year-old turned to one of his other team members and added in Romanian: "Let's see what colour it has. Chocolate with milk?"

Pretty much what my old mum would say as she just says what comes into her mind, it's a generation thing and another storm in a tea cup.
Serena Williams says Ilie Nastase's recent comments about her unborn child are "racist" and has given her backing to a full investigation.

Nastase, a former world number one, was heard speculating whether Williams' child would be "chocolate with milk?"

"It disappoints me to know we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments," Williams said in a statement.

Williams, 35, is due to give birth to her first child in the autumn.

IMO Serena has a point. Nastase is still as "Nasty" as ever...

Re: Bananarama. I remember the BBC presenter Paul Heiney made an episode of the programme 'In at the Deep End' (where he and fellow presenter Chris Serle were asked to take on extraordinary tasks) where he had to direct a video for the Bananas for their forthcoming single 'Trick of the Night' He spent ages getting the storyline right and having them act in it and in the end they shot their own version and ditched his! Charming!

Earlier went outside to take in the milk(our milkman for some inexplicable reason delivers it after 1am) and it was bloody cold, it felt more like Winter than Spring and we had some rain yesterday as well - it seems Winter is returning but as usual it won't last too long, but no heatwaves on the horizon just yet.

Fake news. He's just a patriot.

"I don't need this bulls***. I'm 70 years old. I don't even get paid for being team captain.
"I don't give a s*** if they fine me or don't let me sit in the captain's chair."

Doesn't Nastase have political ambitions in Romania?

He's got a hot young wife and the locker room banter, just needs to work on his Twitter and get Putin onside

And a slogan, how about?

Make Transylvania Great Again!

Nastase is clearly not a racist, he seems happy to abuse any female of any race equally.

Default And now something from the funnies section

Israel's Netanyahu scraps talks with German minister over rights groups

Israel's prime minister has cancelled talks with Germany's foreign minister after he refused to call off a meeting with Israeli human rights activists.

Sigmar Gabriel had been due to meet Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

Mr Netanyahu had warned he would not see Mr Gabriel if he met the groups Breaking the Silence and B'Tselem.

Mr Netanyahu has accused the groups of trying to undermine the state, and the government has taken steps to try to stem their foreign sources of funding.

The incident threatens to stoke diplomatic tensions between Israel and Germany, which are strong allies.

BBC World

I'm not a fan of Sigmar Gabriel but why would even he want to meet with a war criminal and crook who is hated even at home?

Big Grin

Twas noticeable long before this week, but Obama has once again been outed as a liar, and a total hypocrite. Shocking.

He's poised to give a speech at (big investment bank/arch enemy of the left) Cantor Fitzgerald, where he will most assuredly spew forth more of his Socialist/Alinsky bullshit to the tune of $400K.

But, I'm sure the bulk of the speech will reflect his concern for the downtrodden, and his interest in improving the way of life for the middle class, and all those whom have been beaten into submission by years of Republican rule in our inner cities. Oh, wait.....what?

Psssst......look into the new revelations on his "glorious" Iran deal as well.
