I'm saddend by the news that Harou Nakajima has died. Throughout my childhood, and even today, I watched the Kaiju films anytime they came on either in local theaters or later on TV. I know last month they had a Godzilla Get Down month long festival every Saturday night on a local channel.

You will be missed old friend! May your roar ring out all over the world!

Very sad to hear of the news of Gen Campbell passing on. I had a vague memory of the last few bars of Wichita Lineman being used to close the then Radio1 DJ Steve Wright's afternoon show but whilst listening to a tribute to him on Rafio 2 where Steve moved to, he confirmed that memory that he did indeed use the closing bars of that tune to close he old show. I hated country music when I was young but Glen Campbell had some really good stuff like Rhinestone Cowboy and the afire-mentioned Wichita Lineman.
