If you look at the really old Girlie magazine advertisement for nudie films and pix you'll see that Burbank CA is number 1. This is because in the 40s, 50s and 60s Olive Avenue ( which is commercially zoned ) goes past all the Major Studios in that area. This was the place of choice for most Risqué film and photo makers which did have an impact on the community. Some models like Georgia Holden and others would do bit parts in major movies but also do a little strip tease on the side for these production companies. Productions was usually the last name in the title of these film makers. Some even used Burbank in there title to show the Hollywood connection. So now I only go to LA on a dare but it's still nice to have the connections.

Olive still goes by Warner Bros.
