Firstly the stripping scenes from a 1983 documentary on strippers in the UK called "Sunday Mornings and Saturday Nights". It features a few of the same women from another stripping documentary, It's Really Just a Job (which you can find here thanks to Moon Raker).

Work usually got in the way during December so I didn't get to the Sunset then. Until one year when the opportunity arose, so there I was in the front row one early December afternoon. In those days there were curtains and it was pretty dark between acts, so I sat down and immediately wondered what the hard object was as I brushed it with my feet. Bending down, I picked it up.

It was a large lump of plastic foam, white and misshapen, about the size of an orange, maybe a bit bigger. Puzzled, I put it down again as the curtains creaked open and there on the stage was the first of the lovelies I had come to see. The lighting was good then, most of the girls knew how to dance or strut, wore a fair bit of clothing and took their time stripping completely nude, displaying their delicious naked curves for a couple of minutes for the last part of their acts. After several little fillies had deliciously teased their way bare, I noticed another lump of foam near the back of the stage. Very strange.

More acts then there was sound of much giggling behind the curtain. When they wheeled the bed out you could guess from the sounds what they were doing, but giggling and then the sound of a bell, following by lots of sssshing, was completely new to me.

The loudspeakers crackled into life with a selection of popular Christmas tunes, there was a thumping of marching heels, a ringing of bells and the curtains dragged back to show a line of six giggling Mother Christmases, clad in short red robes, trimmed with white, ringing handbells and marching round and round the stage. A fantastic sight but the best was yet to come.

At the obviously arranged time, the girls lined up to face the audience. The robes went up over their heads to show they were topless, just wearing matching red briefs and some .. but not all, read nylons and sussie belts. A quick circling of the stage, then as one they turned their backs on the audience, and whipped down their panties, bare bums, some framed by sussie belts, some just all natural girl!

Only then did I take in the purpose of the plastic bin at the back of the stage. They dived in, grabbing lumps of the foam and started throwing snowballs at their cheering fans. The snowball fight turned into a double length act, maybe twenty minutes, as the audience threw the foam balls back with gusto. Side fights developed, someone in the audience was ganged up on, one girls was singled out, it was a melee.

The snowballs were quite soft so some were aiming carefully. A bare stripper bending to pick up a snowball as another, well aimed one, hit her dangling side boob, another bending down to retrieve another snowball revealing her bare bum and pussy, the scrabble as another nude girl jumped into the audience and raced to the back of the seats to grab ammo, the pace and fury, the seasonal medley in the background, are all unforgettable. As is the sheer good humour and enjoyment.

As the curtains closed one of the ladies came out front with the bin and nudely collected as many of the foam pieces as she could. Several were overlooked, several kept back by the audience when she wasn't looking, ready for the next time round. Pity the poor girl who came on next. She had missed the fun and now had to perform striptease. After what had happened, it almost, almost, seemed boring! It didn't take long though before the serious business of enjoying the Sunset's brand of full nude stripping and the teasers who delighted us exercised their fascination again.

You could be in several fights if you timed your visits right and from then on December was the time to be there. Along with the other eleven months of the year. Jingle bell strip, bring your own balls!

I had completely forgotten this, but reading your account , some part of my memory started to twitch - Yes, I saw this routine a couple of times at the Sunset, wayback (guessing late 80s early 90s?) Thank you for jogging my memory - Yes, I remember the wonderful sense of fun, emanating from the girls! - and I now remember that whole thankless business of one poor girl having to go and retrieve the snowballs. In fact I remember going back a week or so later and, like you finding a 'snowball' and smiling to myself, because I'd been a previous time and realised I'd be seeing that routine again! From that era, at the Sunset, I most remember a real curvy MILF dancer who always had a little 'Here's Roxy now' jingle/soundbite, always wore suspenders (garterbelts) in just about every routine and always made sizzling eye contact, also a beautiful dancer with a routine to the Bugsy Malone 'Tallulah' songs, and an endlessly trotted out comedy routine by someone with a Jasper Carrot sort of voice (to the tune of 'Eviva Espania') singing the rousing chorus: 'All the girls should wear suspender belts - Eviva Suspendah - So their thighs can easily be felt - eviva...' - etc... etc...

I should explain that I had a job in the west End at this time which frequently required me to work into the evenings, but also (quite often) gave me 2 or 3 hours off in the afternoon by way of compensation - so I was at the Sunset on more than just a few occasions.
