Yes i watched that too a few nights ago .Thought it a wise move to have Caine portray the character as he would have been . As in a man who`s speed isn`t the best and someone who`ll more likely collapse during a chase rather than catch up to the person. Because if it`d been American made they`d have had him out drawing , out running and out fighting every villain on the screen . In other words i liked the realism of it , but didn`t enjoy being reminded of just what a piss poor conditioned this supposed green and pleasant land is in

"Dangerous Games" (aka Snake Eyes), Abel Ferrara, 1993.
Film about the filming of a film..
For me the best Ferrara's movie with Bad Lieutenant. H. Keytel is great & surprisingly Madonna is really excellent.

I liked the movie too, but wasn't his shooting too good for someone who hadn't held a weapon for 193 years?

Still a good choice, though - recommended

The King of Kong
A Fistful of Quarters

I have been on a bit of documentary binge lately and watched this one last night. A classic story of good vs. evil fought in the arena of classic arcade video games. The Kong referenced in the title refers to Donkey Kong the classic video game of my mispent youth. The movie tells the tale of Steve Wiebe's attempt to break the long held world record in Donkey Kong. The journey is long and difficult as he has to overcome the "gaming" establishment and their hero Billy Mitchell; the revered champion and world record holder in Donkey Kong. This movie is absolutely hilarious as it looks into this unique subculture. You also find yourself cheering for Wiebe as he tries so hard to reach his goal. A really pleasant surprise and a very funny movie.

Lots of distracting thumping music , a load of loudly shouted pointless dialouge , plenty of fire fights where the baddies can`t aim for shit , and bugger all characterisation (Although i`m sure Travolta considered the fact he had a shaved head and a goatee all the characterisation he needed ) or any sort of a followable plot.

Yeah you know the type , a bloody awful buddy picture
