Marooned in the wilds of rural Buckinghamshire tonight. Some unusual micro-brewery offerings on tap at the local in Princes Risborough.

Decided on this one. Quite a pleasant, hoppy pale ale - not too heavy. Good for a chatty evening with old friends.

Next time must try its stronger brother beer called "Roadkill"

3 hours out in Town...cost me a fortune with an average of £9 for a Guinness and a JD & Coke.

Back home with a decent bottle of red...Happy!

Today's drink is from Germany: Weihenstephaner Hefe Weisse: One of the most delicious beers I have ever had. Pours a golden yellow with a white head that lasts. Alcohol content 5.4%. Has typical banana and clove tastes of all wheat beers, but very smooth and refreshing. Also has a yeasty bread-like flavor. An outstanding beer overall.
