Some further research turned up a listing for Iris Bancroft at boobpedia

Additional Google searches using that name produced quite a number of links to nudist publications of the 1960's & 70's, as well as 3 or 4 romantic fiction books sold at amazon and other sites. Google also produced this tribute link from December 2003

So . . . I'm not 100% sure that "mystery" is Iris Bancroft, but given her ties to the nudist lifestyle in the 1960's & 70's, and the photographic record made by her husband, I think there is a reasonable probability.
