593. Whenever you are being chased within a dwelling, your best strategy is to run up the stairs to a higher level, instead of out the front door.

596. Australians are never weak. They know exactly what they're doing in a jungle or a desert, even if they were pizza-bakers in Melbourne. Australian men are all bad-ass 597. American traffic cops shoot violators when it suits them. Even if they're not violators they shoot people (Dirty Harry) 598. US Presidents can be kidnapped and the White House can be attacked by tursts. You don't know what tursts are? I didn't either, until I heard Dubya |

599 - when you pick up a sword it will always make a scraping sound like it's been dragged over stone, even if it's picked up off a bed.

@Palo5, The character we know of as Robin Hood didn't exist, nor as far as is known did his 'Merry men' but there was at least one 'robin hood' who was a criminal of some sort. These 'robin hoods' were not necassarily from the time of Richard the lionheart (Or 'King Dick' as he was known by probably someone somewhere at sometime). There are references to 'robin hood' in the late 13th century, mentioned in the rolls of several english Justices (judges of some sort).
There was real man called Roger Godberd, who really was an outlaw in sherwood forest. Some of this info is from wikipedia though. They also say Robin is mentioned/referenced in 'The Vision of Piers Plowman', a famous poem from that time, but I've read 3 versions and I don't remember any Robin

601 . American police dept's have an infinite supply of patrol cars and helicopters . If you so much as jump a red light you will be chased by at least a dozen squad cars . Many US crime films
601 (a). American police believe that chasing a runaway train with all their vehicles and helicopters will somehow influence the outcome . Unstoppable |

If you are conducting an undercover police/secret service surveillance operation from a car parked in the street, make sure you get as close to their vehicle/ home/office as possible. Take plenty of pictures with a large conspicious telephoto lens and wear headphones while you listen in to their bugged coversations. Share substantial amounts of junk food with your partner while you do this and routinely leave the vehicle for more. Don't worry, there is not the slightest possibility of the suspect, neighbours or colleagues ever spotting you acting suspiciously whatever you do.
