I like reading that "leftist rag" - no doubt you enjoy your "rags" too.
However I found this tweet offensive, and I know other folks in the London office I work at also found it offensive as well.

WTF does it matter about the countries where the injured came from?

Since I live 3 miles away from the Palace of Westminster, I know the area fairly well. I saw no "magnificent diversity" in getting injured by that lunatic a$$hole this week - what I saw, first and foremost were the poor unfortunate folks who died (RIP) and those with life-threatening injuries.

This week's attack has brought up some really asinine comments like that tweet...

This happens in every tragic situation. If you want to end up in the news situate yourself next to a contrasting soul like you are in a Benetton ad and the cameras will find you. As long as the left refuses to understand that the problem is Islam itself, it cannot claim to be about solving the problem, in fact, it is the left that has made it illegal in many countries to even discuss the problems with Islam.

This is really testing my patience, Vannax.

1. Who are "the left" in this context? I read "the left" as "anyone who doesn't slavishly agree with Vannax".
2. You might find that some people on "the right" would take issue with your virulently anti-Islam views as well. Quite a few right wingers have this strange thing going on in their heads about freedom of religion and freedom of the individual.
3. Do you really believe that "all the left do is lie, loot and murder"? If you do, let me help you out; this statement is nonsense. It was "the left" which secured most of the social progress which has taken place since the 17th Century. For example:
   • Universal state education
   • Health and safety at work
   • Food standards and clean water to drink
   • Healthcare provision (still definitely a work in progress in the USA but taken for granted everywhere else in the civilised world).
   • Pensions (though in fairness this reform began in Germany and was first pioneered by Otto von Bismarck, who was definitely a right winger).
   • Social security so that mass unemployment, which can certainly arise in industrial societies, will not automatically mean mass starvation. A lot of people actually died of mere want of bread before social security was introduced.
   • The right to vote.

   Godwin's Law strikes again. Perhaps if you didn't make absurdist statements and considered a rational argument, more people might engage with you and in a nicer way.
