which most likely relates to the transfer to new servers that began only a few days ago
or means something during the transfer got broken

Most transfers always throw up issues - i wouldnt be going near them for a week

I can't even believe im going to even write this, ive always known imagevenue to be a strong, reliable image host, many images that other net users have uploaded have appeared to still be there many years after their original date uploaded, but I felt the need to report this,

Its just abit of a heads up, a caution really, just to take a look, check your own images sort of thing, ive had issues with imagevenue tonight their site is of course up and running but noticed in my own uploaded images both in my folders in imagevenue and also in others VEF threads that images either appeared to be missing or had a red X with that boxed black outline around them. Images on imagevenue seem to still exist but however seem to not appear.

Ive sent a PM in VEF, just for clarification really of the small concern I have, but felt the need to also post a comment in here. I hope for everyone at VEF that their isnt a problem with many net users imagevenue images, it might just be an issue with imagevenue just for tonight, either way best to check to see if images are in working order though, hence my choice to report my experience.

Angry Imagevenue reliability sucks

I'm afraid Imagevenue fucked up many (if not 100%) of my uploads. When I randomly checked a few of my folders (via "Folder Viewer") in my account I got this message:

Not Found

The requested URL /get_code.php was not found on this server.

No more Imagevenue for me

I feel gutted for you just reading this, I know this may sound silly but im going to type it anyway, im so sorry for your loss. Because in away it is a loss for you. I can only imagine how many hours you've spent uploading, posting your uploaded images, im not surprised at all that you wouldnt want to use Imagevenue again, not surprised at all. Its not only the time youve spent before but its also the time it may take you to re-upload & sort out all the mess & problems they have just caused you. I hope in your case you have got backups which may help make a problem abit less problematic.

For myself I'm pleased to report my images are randomly back up & displaying as normal, must have been a momentary issue for me, however it does give me pause for thought regarding Imagevenue's reliability.

Indeed. I used Imagevenue mainly for dozens of Ad Hoc* projects (*with no back-up) and Imagebam as my main host.

So my main work is still online, but still it's a bad day with Imagevenue turning out to be a major pain in the *ss.

Default Imagebam

Is anybody else having problems with Imagebam today?

I keep getting a 'Error700: File extension error: File: Unidentified.' message whenever I try to upload anything.

Imagevenue is working fine, but they have smaller thumbnail pictures unfortunately.

Just wondering if it is them or my PC? Hope it's them!!

Hmmmm, that's what I suspected!

These are just ordinary Jpeg images. As I said, Imagevenue is fine, but not imagebam.

My PC has been doing a few odd things ever since I updated my Avast programme a couple of months ago.
However, I downloaded Firefox, and am using that as a browser, before that...don't laugh, I was using IE, but lots of things don't work with that any longer, so I had to change it. Firefox is much better, except now I cannot seem to use Imagebam. A connection????

Thanks for any help guys
