[Solved TNC] Regina Dixon - Does anyone recognize "Dottie Robbins"?
Found on ebay. Only info there is the photographer was Ron Vogel and they were taken in 1969. I can't find any other information on "Dottie Robbins" and I figure a girl this cute that was willing to pose nude must have done more. I mean how could she not be in demand looking like this..But I've searched all around and...nothing. So does anyone know of any other names for this model? Thanks.
Mod edit: fogmoose now has started a thread for her in Classic Softcore Models here |

Dottie Robbins ID = Regina Dixon
Ok I just joined VEF today May 9 2020, just to post in this thread.
The young lady identified here as Dottie Robbins has a much more common ID in many, many early - mid 1970s skin mags as she is most often shown as named 'Regina Dixon'. I'm not sure if that is her real name or a fictional one. She's a real cutie!! I've been a fan of hers for years. Her photos have been in many such '70s men magazines as Adam, Modern Man, Pix and quite a few others, that I can't recall, but I've seen photos of her in just about every '70s men's skin mag in at least one issue. The most active period for her appearances was from about 1970 to about 1975/76. Alternatively, I have seen her identified as Charlene Wills or Charlene Willis or sometime as Charlotte with spelling variations of all those names, as well. But the most common ID for her during the height of her 1970s appearance heyday was Regina Dixon. I had never seen her ID'ed as Dottie Robbins until I stumbled on this thread. Hope I've helped others who find her as enchantingly attractive as I have. PS: I've always wondered as has the OP, I see. Why a young lady this attractive and that appeared in so many mags, so often is not more widely known in the vintage community. Like why is there not a thread here on VEF dedicated to her? Not complaining, at all, just wondering. Last edited by Gasket the Cat; May 10th, 2020 at 04:22 AM.. |

Thanks for the welcome. I can post a quick random list of titles and issue dates. But I don't know how to post pics here. Here are some titles with dates of magazines I know that she appears in. Climax Jun 1974 Adam vol. 12 number 7 (Aug 1974) Cover and Centerspread Candid Nov 1975 (as Debby) Duke Oct 1974 (cover) Man's Sep 1974 (cover as Sally Dixon) Modern Man May 1974 (Cover and Centerspread) Modern Man Dec 1976 Stud Nov 1974 And browsing here, I have already spotted Regina's pics in at least one post in the Late Night Extra thread. |

As far as the name goes, I think maybe the guy who posts this stuff on ebay makes up names. Maybe to make the stuff seem more exclusive or something? I don't know. But the models are often impossible to find and then when you can find them it seems it's always with a different name. What's funny is, these days you have search engines like Yandex that are so good at matching faces that you don't really necessarily need a name to track stuff down... and I still couldn't find anything on her. So who knows. Anyway. thanks again. I really appreciate it. |

Thank you so much vambomarbleye, for posting those cover images. Much Appreciated!!
She even has the same frock around her waist and shoulders in both cover photos as in the original photo you posted, though the background color changed from red to green. You do recognize her as the same girl as the girl in your original post, yes? So we can all now agree that we are IDing the same young lady, from the original post then? But how do you guys here agree on what name should be used to identify her in the future? As I said in my first post she is most commonly IDed as Regina Dixon, but that name is in no way exclusively used. Last edited by Gasket the Cat; May 10th, 2020 at 08:22 PM.. |

Yes, I would say that is definitely the same model.
The other part I don't know about. I'm fairly new here myself. |

And I also agree that the auction seller who posted these images just uses random names.
I see he posts lots of images from large format original negs or transparencies or most likely from copy negs, of some semi, or fairly well known or easily identifiable vintage models that have no bearing on their more commonly acknowledged IDs. When the vintage model is widely known by one name he usually uses that name, IE: Michelle Angelo, Roberta Pedon, Linda Gordon, or Uschi. But for the lesser easily recognized vintage models it seems his naming IDs have no connection with any common naming reality. Last edited by Gasket the Cat; May 10th, 2020 at 08:38 PM.. |
