Another one of my favourite characters 'Black Bolt' leader of the Inhumans huge power and strength also of great integrity

oh and a voice that "even a whisper could shatter the Earth" bit like my wife

The Inhumans were an odd bunch who really needed a powerful leader. Medusa with the living hair, Gorgon who stamps his feet, Karnak who does karate and Triton the amphibious inhuman; thankfully Crystal the elemental who packs some power.
I much preferred Maximus' bunch of evil inhumans who started off by facing the Hulk with Timberius, Leonus. Aereo, Nebulo, Falcona and Stallior the centaur.

Sure am, I've been a Marvel fan since around 1966 and after a long holiday period I am now catching up on many of the stories I missed.

Although I also love Marvel's adaptations of Conan especially those written by Roy Thomas you should also read Robert E. Howard's original stories. Comparing the two it's easy to see how much care and attention Roy Thomas took in his adaptations.

i can see your point but...
comic conan, novel conan, movie conan - not the same character for me.
its like james bond or tarzan...
comic conan (the barbarian) is a comic hero and i dont care about the books. when i read some of the books, i dont think about the comics. its always interesting to compare adaptations with originals, but many people take it too seriously and say this or that sucks, only because its not "great" as the original. i hope you know what i am trying to say : )) its different medium

i have a terminator 2 (marvel) comic book and it is really bad. it doenst work without knowing the movie and pictures are like drawn by a kid.

True, both Bond and Tarzan have suffered some real indignities over the years.

Marvel also did a few memorable stories of Kull and Howard's puritan hero Solomon Kane that are also worth checking out.
