My two cents ...

Most of what I watch has at least some very passionate "real" kissing. And I've observed that even somewhat "icy" princesses, like Harmony Rose or Jenna Haze, seem to crave being kissed at some point once they have a dick deep in the ass.

Generally, "professionals", i.e. prostitutes, don't want kissing (unless it's GFE); but the ladies we know and love are "actresses" and passionate kissing goes with the territory.

Virtually the only porn I ever look at that could be called "modern" is amateur stuff. Lots of kissing, unless they are simply trying to imitate real porn (or unless it is real porn trying to imitate amateur stuff). It appeals to the voyeur in me, like I'm really getting a glimpse at a real couple who actually might have feelings for each other. A big turn on.

If we're talking about modern porn then yeah, passionate kissing in between donkey punching and ass-to-mouthing the woman might seem a bit out of place... But, then, who am I to say?

In an actual (gasp!) erotic film, in a scene between two lovers, husband/wife or bf/gf (and there are scenes with those remember) or two characters who are passionate about each other, kissing is not only not strange but required for the scene to work. Why wouldn't these characters, in that context, kiss each other?

And I'm not referring to the tongue flicking, either. A woman's mouth AND pussy both deserve so much more than a flick of the tongue.

I've always found it ironic that in modern, (post 1990,) porn that the real live couples have the LEAST chemestry of any pairing in the movies they're in. (Jenna Jameson/Brad Armstrong, Jenna/Justin Sterling, Raquel Darrien/Whoever that one dude she was always paired with was, Tera Patrick/Evan, etc.) The real life couples who worked together on screen prior to this were always the hottest pairings of all.
