Yesterday night I watched a Swiss TV report about the Russia of "Putin".

There were several Russian speakers, from different social classes, different economical sectors. All blamed... corruption.

I smiled a little bit, because it was almost if I was listening to Brazilian or Italian people.
If the corruption is that strong, why don't you change your institutions to request more transparency from the administration like the Scandinavian societies?

Do you think that corruption is in your genes or do you think that you can solve this problem in a near future?

Very few progressive people are interested in the destruction of corruption in Russia. The majority sees corruption as a matter of course. Corruption permeated the whole of Russian life. Anyone who has the opportunity will take the money. It will take more than a decade to eradicate this part of the national mentality. Therefore, any measures to combat this evil, such as Scandinavian, will exist only on paper, not working in reality.

I'll give you an example. Over the past three years my grandfather (he was about 90 years old) three times were in the hospital. Officially, hospitalization is free, but in reality I had to pay the doctors that they took him to the hospital. Imagine a picture: a defenseless old man suffers from pain, and the doctor says that there is no reason for hospitalization. But as soon as I offered the doctor the money, he did it right away. And there are many such examples.

They're much more popular in Britain and USA rather than in Russia. I mean Abramovich, Yakunin. They perfectly live in London https://youtu.be/SbCXzSjy8TA

And they much prefer keeping most of their money in obscure banking havens.

Congratulations to Vladimir Putin who won the election with 73% of the votes.

FTFY.

Btw, it is not astounding that a man of this quality is re-elected. I am pretty sure even you would vote for such a candidate. If you only had one.

Look, it is basically a very simple process. Russians watch the extent of puke in our corrupt quality media. British media are of particular interest here. The candidate that makes Western MSM truly sick to the bone is the candidate who gets the most votes because he/she (Russians still prefer the old-fashioned way of distinguishing between male and female gender) is most likely to have Russian interests in mind.

Elementary, my dear Watson. Elementary.

(Yes I know, Holmes never said that.)

Could you tell us the names of any other candidate? Give us a link to their Party Political Broadcast? A link to their website, either personal or party? How about a link to their televised debate with Putin? You must at least have the details of a candidate who was on the ballot paper in every area of Russia, rather than the ballot papers which have different names depending on the area they are in? Election? Yeah RIGHT!

Democracy my dear Nobody, democracy!
