Vida Farthing

I was watching the film Clash of the Titans last night and was struck by the beauty of the woman playing the mother of Perseus. We don't see much of her in the film sadly, but she certainly made an impression on me.

So today I decided to do a little research online in an attempt to find out more about her. It would seem that although she starred in a small number of films she was mainly a glamour model who appeared in men's magazines and on Page 3.

She seems to have gone by at least three aliases: Vida Taylor, Vida Farthing and Vida Heath.

It would be lovely to see more of her, but she does seem to be far less well known than many models of her era sadly.

She was the Penthouse Pet of the Month in July of 1971.
