Is there anything in modern porn that you like?

I'm one of the guys here who generally despises modern porn. That's why I'm here.

But yesterday and today I spent some time in the modern porn forum, and found a couple of things I liked.

1. Some of the girls are really beautiful. (Think: Met Art and Fem Joy as examples)

2. High Definition photos are are HUGE!

I especially like #2. Some of those photos are life-sized and crystal clear. You can basically put a woman's picture up on your monitor that simulates a 69 position. No substitute for the real thing, of course, but as porn it's about as good as it gets.

Wouldn't it be cool to take that technology and go back in time and photograph someone like, say, Brigitte Lahaie?

Lingerie in modern porn is HOT but they just don't keep it on long enough.
The Females are gorgeous but they are more concerned with showing genitalia.
The booty bounce is pretty hot too.

For me Modern porn is hot up to about 10 seconds after she starts giving head then I find another clip.

Viagra and Video Tape ruined porn.

Modern Porn is all visual.
Classic porn was made for theaters where there was no fast-forward button. It has a flow to the scene that stirs inside you til you explode.

That's an excellent point. I have a 1,000 reasons (more or less) why classic porn is better than modern porn.

The most interesting thing about your comment, though, is that you focus on film. I cannot think of a single redeeming value of modern porn videos. I hate every single one I ever watch.

So I realize now, thanks to your post, that I'm only talking about photos, not film.

I enjoy modern photos alot more than the videos they are from, it just too hard to dig through the 5,000 photos they took during the shoot.

The quality of digital video and stills is far superior to nearly anything produced in the vintage era. Lighting is often better understood although that's no guarantee that the photography or content is better. Unfortunately, a digital SLR used for stills or video is an open invitation to shoot large quantites of often boring material that frequently seems to lack that essential spark.

I believe that there's a trend back to slightly more pubic hair recently. Not just for the lovers of hairy females, but also in mainstream porn and glamour photography. The decade of completely hairless women (and men! which I've always disliked) has come to an end.
And that's a very good thing. Given that in the past ten to fifteen years porn aesthetics have become a major influence on how human bodies are styled and presented (and the whole fully shaved obsession was started in the porn and glamour field), we will see the return of - more or less - pubic hair in our daily life. From my personal experience I can say that quite a few younger women - below the age of 25 - have already begun to be fed up with the fully shaved look. Certainly I don't know how far this beginning trend will go, but I hope for the best.
