Now with the microwave I make it in a small bowl.
Add 2 eggs and a dash of milk to the bowl.
Beat well.
Nuke for 40 seconds
Take out and beat again
Nuke for 30 seconds
Take out and beat again
Nuke for 20 seconds
Beat a final time and serve.
If they still look a little soggy nuke for further 15 seconds.
FFS FFS I can scramble eggs in a pan in half the time you nuke them, and they will not be like rubber!

Have to agree. Microwaves are OK for some things but I'll take eggs on the oven top any day over the microwave. Really don't like those rubber eggs.

Agreed.

I usually break a few eggs into a skillet, add chopped green onions, black pepper,
maybe some cheese, and done. Sometimes a veggie omelette.
Sometimes Juevos Rancheros with tortillas and a mild brown salsa.

The real deal is adding fried potatoes with onions and garlic.

Don't get me started on bacon.....recently I've found turkey bacon, oh my.

Guys if you don't like the recipe don't make it.
Secondly the eggs are light and fluffy not rubbery. (Obviously you haven't even tried the method)
Thirdly the idea is to reduce cleanup.

Even when you nuke eggs, it's still a pain in the ass to scrub egg residue out of the bowl. Better to cook them in a pan, IMHO.

I don't think a "real" bachelor meal involves recipes, or actual cooking.

My idea of a bachelor meal is a couple of those microwaveable bacon cheeseburgers, a big handful of Doritos, some nice scotch, and some fizzy water to wash it all down with.

One plate and a highball glass and you're done with the dishes.

Recipes, maybe, depends on what one defines as a recipe
But actual cooking, perish the thought

And all in front of the TV and neglecting to answer the phone if you're scoffing down something like an old favorite of mine, I loved buying a Charcoal Chicken and taking it home, not cut it up, just whack the whole chook on a plate ripping bits off and have Chicken flavored chips ( crisps ) with it and a beer or five with the obligatory belching Might as well since there was no one there to complain or call me a swine

Open tins. Bung contents in big bowl. Microwave for one minute. Stir and microwave for another minute.

Add microwaveable rice (1min 30 secs).

Shovel on plate and add mango chutney. Enjoy!
