What this smacks of is the government finding new ways to bail out industries that clearly can't compete or even try to compete anymore. (The traditional news outlets are dinosaurs now.) Why do they feel the need to prop up an industry that died 10 years ago with laws like this?

Oh yeah, they got Obama elected in the first place, my bad...
