And yes Comrade Palo, they are our shores, even the bits at Portsea and Point Piper, but that doesn't mean the rich sods don't wish us hoi polloi would keep our distance.
And TM, if you come down to pet the Quokkas, call in at Monkey Mia an area of beach in Western Australia where the Bottlenosed dolphins come into the shallows. At least I think they still do, I haven't been since I was a kid and I'm sure things have changed in fifty plus years. My sister and I remember it as being pretty cool though.

Well we have privately owned islands in NZ-so by definition there must be private beaches-otherwise you'd have privately owned islands with public beaches-which would be nonsense...and only last year a private beach on the mainland was purchased by public subscription (matched by the government)

'Swimming with dolphins' is a niche NZ tourism area-there are places where you can do it. Random encounters also occur-but official policy is to leave marine mammals alone-except when they obviously need assistance-whale strandings being far too common here in NZ.

And there are several semi enclosed areas with their own populations of resident (as opposed to pelagic) dolphin populations-Akaroa Harbour on Banks penisula, near Christchurch, and Dusky Sound in Fiordland have large resident populations that have been the subject of decades long studies.

We used to go camping in one of the national parks beaches south of Sydney.
While body surfing the waves we were joined by a pod of dolphins doing the same.
It was pretty fucking awesome.

I was talking about the old ferry, the JJ Farnsworth, loved that old ferry

Can't remember when she was decommissioned

But her replacement runs daily

AXE is a man's deodorant in Europe. It stops their armpits from stinking

Some years ago there was an AXE commercial where a smoothie longhair sprays it on himself and every woman he passes throws herself at him. So this guy made a joke
