When I was young my parents got me and my brothers toys. We got clothes from our out of town relatives. One thing which was interesting, is that at that time in the early 1950's Smuckers brand of jellies and jams was not available in Chicago, so one of my uncles who lived in New York City would send us every Christmas this big box that had every variety of Smuckers jellies and jams, and those were a lot better then than the crap that Smuckers makes now. As me and my brothers got older we got fewer toys and more books and clothes.
Make your own Christmas cookies or get them at a local bakery? |

Bakery. (It's actually both. My sister makes internationally acclaimed chocolate chip cookies.)
In my family we have a big brunch and then a big dinner on Christmas day. One big meal on Christmas or two?

Elvis-No one does it like "The King"
When I was a kid, like most kids, we ripped our Christmas presents open as fast as we could. As an adult do you still rip your presents open or carefully un-wrap them? |
