The Kids Of Today

I was in the pub tonight & a youth approached me & asked me if it was true that Lemmy from Motorhead used to be in Hawkwind. Bearing in mind the internet is an invaluable source of information & most of the younger generation seem to be plugged into it 24 hours a day I found this question crazy to say the least. The next question is probably going to be "So is it true dolphins can swim then?" God help us all!!!

I would find it more strange to hear the words "Lemmy, Motorhead and Hawkwind" in the same sentence being said by a member of today's youth

I still think of him as the bloke who used to be in Hawkwind. Motorhead is a secondary thing.

Pray tell me once you imparted your answer to said youths question did he turn away without another word , or did he thank you ?.

I only ask because if it was the latter maybe you could take a leaf out of his book , as you`ve been a member here for years yet for some reason best known to yourself have never thanked anybody

I mean you can say what you want about the kids of today ,but at least some of them occasionally say thanks

Granted mostly just after they`ve taken my wallet , phone and watch but still

That`s where our kids should be sent , sod ordinary school send those suckers away to be trained so they obey their elders
