That Honda engine is a BIG "IF" Certainly, if they come near Mercedes, I think Max will be well in the running for the title. Adrian Newey should again produce his magic. We have had one dominant car for too many years, Red Bull, then Mercedes. I know Ferrari has been up there at times, but not for a full season. It would be refreshing to see three teams fighting for wins next year. Maybe that is too much to hope for?

too much hope
yes especially for honda. they just now have gotten to reliable. speed and power will take a while longer. think Daniel made right choice for 2 years anyway. best hope for a race next year is still the prancing horse. bad as that may be. still, hope does have a chance.

I missed this article before, but apparently Sophia Floersch is doing well after her second operation, is walking, has returned to Deutschland, and is planning to race again.

Just a random fact to bump the thread.
Lewis Hamilton is 34yo. Mika Hakkinen had retired by that age. |

A few other facts:
Graham Hill won his first F1 title at the age of 33; his second title at age 39! His son Damon won his only F1 title when he was 36... |

It's interesting to read what former Ferrari pilot Eddie Irvine had to say about four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

I think Eddie is still bitter about 1999. So close yet so far. If Michael hadn't busted his leg at Silverstone then he would won it that year. The best thing was Mika winning in 1999 cause it set up some damn fine racing in the couple of years to come.

It'd be good to get an opportunity to edit your post before it gets deleted.
Irvine got hired by Ferrari because he was good enough to drive the car not to be embarrassing, but not ambitious enough to complain if the team treated him like a *****. I wish he'd stfu more. Banging on about how great his life. If it was that good, you wouldn't have to be telling everyone? He talks tough. But on the track, he was just solid. |

As far as one of the recent 2 posts from above (centering around Eddie Irvine) is concerned, I -for my part- donīt see anything that should be edited/deleted. Iīm sure the section-Mods would have done so if necessary. .
