Seriously?

Agnew took bribes in his office while sitting at his desk while governor of Maryland and continued to do so when he became Vice President because he was a fucking moron, at least politically speaking.

There is zero evidence that Pence has ever taken any bribes done any underhanded or illegal shit, unless you are going to count his refusal to be anywhere alone with a woman who isn't his wife as a crime, rather than just batshit crazy.

His thoughts and proposals to mandate that all the queers and homos and dykes and lesbos receive mandatory 'conversion therapy' is vile and repulsive, but it isn't illegal.

Yet.

So don't try and compare the two, because, just no.

Default Michael Cohen blames Trump's 'dirty deeds' as he is jailed

US President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, who once said he’d take a bullet for him, has lashed out at his ex-boss' "dirty deeds" as he was given a 36-month prison sentence.

Cohen is the first member of Mr Trump's inner circle to be jailed over the special counsel's inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

He admitted lying to Congress, campaign finance violations and tax evasion.

In a New York court Cohen, 52, blamed his crimes on Mr Trump.

The disgraced attorney told Judge William Pauley on Wednesday that Mr Trump had caused him to "follow a path of darkness rather than light".

He told the court his "weakness was a blind loyalty to Donald Trump" and that he "felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds".

Why was Agnew forced to resign? Tax evasion, for failure to report the bribes as income and pay taxes on the income.

His crimes had no connection to Nixon's crimes, but we got him out of the way before getting rid of Nixon. Given Pence's seedy past, and his connection to the Russia nexus, there is something to work with.

That did not turn out well for Trump.

I thought it was "lock her up!"

“A.M.I. further admitted that its principal purpose in making the payment was to suppress [Karen McDougall's] story so as to prevent it from influencing the election,” prosecutors said in a statement announcing they had struck a deal not to charge the company in exchange for its cooperation."

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/12/n...ael-cohen.html

So, out of the three people involved in the deal to silence Karen McDougall, two have have admitted to felonies, with Cohen going to jail for three years.

The only one to deny it is Trump.

*Sighs*

Firs of all, who is this "we?"

The Watergate investigation was NEVER connected in any way to Agnew, and there is no evidence that Nixon knew anything about the bribes Agnew took. The big reason he selected Agnew as running mate was because Agnew was an attack dog, "nattering nabobs of negativity," etc.

And what seedy past does Pence have? By all accounts he's a an overly uptight christian with a pole about 2 feet in diameter rammed up his butthole and that weird thing going on with women who aren't his wife. What connection to the Russian nexus? Again, there has never been any evidence of this, Pence was the governor and fairly unpopular one of Indiana, and I think Pence is a smart enough politician where if he heard about the Russian stuff he made sure he wasn't present for very long.

In light of current events, does this playbook look familiar?
