British humour throughout the decades has always made fun of the absurd and unusual practices of religions from Monty Python and Dave Allen to Rowan Atkindon and beyond and of course we find the idea of a woman who can only see out of a slit in a veil funny-there is a fine line between humour and out and out racism like the Tommy Robinsons(Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) of this world. I just thank God Boris didn't do this when he was Foreign Secretary or he would have caused a diplomatic incident.

Cirrhosis of the liver is very noticeable this week in my circle. A friend of mine has been in hospital with it since the beginning of July and now I have just heard that she has gone into intensive care with breathing difficulties caused by a chest infection she has been struggling with for a week now.

Until this started I knew very little about liver disease and to be honest I wish I still knew very little about it because it is extremely distressing for anyone who has it. Boys and girls, be sensible about how much you drink.
