Who will appoint Mr Justice Scalia's successor? Will it be Mr Obama or will it be the next president? Any Obama appointment will need to be approved by Congress. That might be interesting.

As I understand it may not come to vote on the Senate floor. If that happens the next prez will. Barry maybe if he can get the Senate to pass his recommendation.

Never really followed up with that. She went into bankruptcy and was, for a while, protected from Bank of America but, even though she is still under bankruptcy protection, they still screw with her. She still has a while to go under protection but they just sent her (within the last two weeks) they're new plan to increase her mortgage another $250 per month (even though they can't do that). So why are they doing that?

There seems to be only one answer. They like f#cking with her. Is that illegal? Probably not. But if I could put a bullet between every BoA employees eyes, believe me I would do it. Those people are scum and do not deserve one more breath of air.

Would I go to jail for doing such a thing? Of course. But I would know I was in the right.

Now you know why I hate the financial institutions. And I know I'm not alone. Far from it.

The law in this matter, as I understand it, is pretty specific. The President nominates the next justice but its then up to the Senate to confirm that appointee.

I would be shocked if Obama doesn't nominate someone. I'd say there is a 100% chance he will. But what happens in the Senate will be interesting as, with the Republicans now controlling the Senate, they will do everything they can to stop the nomination. Can they? Not sure, but I think they can.

What will be really interesting is that this will turn into a HUGE political bludgeon where a whole lot of people are going to become very familiar with the nomination process.

This should be fun to watch as I'm sure its going to get very nasty.

My my 9 I see you are rather upset but would you really shoot EVERY employee? I doubt it. First most have no say as to what they can and can't do, it is just the greedy guts at the top and upper management that are guilty.
About the dunning and payment increase - is there a free legal service in your area? Legal Aid comes to mind, then some firms will do pro bono (not boner) in certain areas of the law, etc. etc. Check online in your area and I hope you can find some help.

I understand that. BoA seems to have some really severe personnel problems as my girlfriends case managers don't seem to last more than a month or two and everything she sends in to them gets lost (and I mean that literally, even if she sends it in registered mail). Poof! Its gone! Send it in again. Its a real scam.

So yes, lets get a huge scaffold built and put all management on it. I would be more than happy to pull the trap door on each and every one.

Free legal services are basically of little use in this area.

Her problems started five or six years ago when she had heart problems and had to have major surgery several times and wasn't able to work for over a year. She actually worked for a health insurance company that was (and still is) crap. They "self insured" and treated all of their employees like crap. Anyway, I could go on but whats the point.

So, even though she would be considered working class (only made around $26k annually) she had to get an attorney. And he was only OK. Probably charged her too much but she was able to keep her house (at least for a while).

The problem is that BoA still holds her mortgage (kind of). They couldn't show anyone the note (who knows where that is) but the bankruptcy judge's aren't willing to go where they need to because they know the banks have totally screwed up the mortgage system. If they ruled the way they should, almost everybody's mortgage would be proven to be screwed. Probably, nobody would owe anything.

And thats just the start of why I hate the banks.

In addition to this February time frame, Senator Issa was kicking back the idea today that when the 114th Congress ends on January 3rd, 2017 - Obama will still officially be in office until January 20th, 2017 and thus has 17 days to make a recess appointment.

Conservatives across the US are groaning in pain as they prepare to get BF'd.

I doubt that Obama will be able to get a new Justice approved before November.

My betting is that the Rs will reject any nominee he puts forward.

From a political perspective, the Rs can use a Supreme Court seat as a goad to rally the troops for the Presidential election.

Yes it has no legal grounds, who ever said it did? It's a purely Christian construct to celebrate love and it has become over commercialised however that does not make it bad; the thought behind it is reasonable enough. It has nothing to do with Islam or any faith even non believers send cards it's just tradition. How is it against Islam exactly?

I can understand some Hindu's not liking it as they have a long tradition of arranged marriages so meeting a stranger by chance and falling in love is an alien concept for them.

I think this is just a smoke and mirrors political gimmick for a politician trying to score cheap points. Burning Valentine's Day ephemera is childish in the extreme.
