Best / Worst Box Sets / TV Series of current and all time etc etc !
Granted I've not bought a physical media series for a long time but this season is so flawless in every conceivable way I`d be tempted to . If for no other reason than to show some appreciation to everybody involved. "Cough" as it is I`m cheekily free streaming the second season instead In case were wondering . Indeed , this second season maintains the same standards as the outstanding first

Lexx. Not all of the box sets, just the ones with Eva Haberman. She was replaced by a pneumatic boobed thing with lips so pumped up they looked like they would explode. The first two series made as much sense sober, drunk or stoned. As MJ states the series descended into directorial self-indulgent wank or extrapolating small thin ideas worthy of five minutes into an entire episode.Hypnotic music over closing credits.
ps. the numbering of seasons/ episodes is a clusterfuck Last edited by vo1v0d; May 3rd, 2019 at 06:01 PM.. Reason: spel |

A box set that does not live up to the memories I had from my youth
Hello Cheeky box-set https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fvkgtE1chg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIJgZcIeNS0 It may have been as novel as I remembered it at the time it has dated horribly Edit - one of the few places you can hear the word NigNog and jokes about puffters Pre the PC apocalypse

Absolutely. From early 90's. One of the most atrocious hilarious comedy couples in John Sparkes and Morwenna Banks, Denzil and Gwynnedd in segments that are only a couple of minutes duration but are comedy gold. Jack Dochert as a rabid scot rechristening england Poofland are just two of the highlights. Some bits on youtube

I gave all my box sets away to The Salvos a couple of years ago. I've got The Two Ronnies, Last of The Summer Wine, Goodnight Sweetheart, Hi-de-Hi! and BTVS on a USB stick

This was... challenging previous definitions of what comprises 'a boxset'
I know it's a music album, but this one constitutes 3CDs a DVD and a 97 page book. A favourite album of mine from when I was 13 years old. I still have a 180gram imported vinyl record which has only been played once, safely packed away. They are stating this 50th anniversary issue is a limited addition. Doesn't matter. I won't be selling this either. |

Watching Orville Season 1 at the moment. Like a funny sort of Star Trek.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5691552/ Good for a laugh so far, I guess. Vodka always helps to get through a dodgy TV series though.

The first series was good, but they were still trying to find the balance between comedy and drama.. Believe me, the second series is even better. Good to see you back btw.

The Thick of It. Brilliant political satire but I no longer have the stomach for it. A british disease is laughing and mocking the shitstorm we are all suffering from. Once again I envy the french with their yellow vests out fighting for change instead of making satires about it.
