monarchy or republic?
A monarchy is a merchant ship which sails well, but which sometimes will strike a rock, and go to the bottom; whilst a republic is a raft which will never sink, but then your feet are always in the water.
Fisher Ames 1758 - 1808 Speaking in the house of representatives in 1795

Next in line or best of breed? You decide!
As I vented certain incestuously inbred attitudes of the royal family in my last post, I like to verify that with a few very well conceived images of what the Queen's latest line of grandkiddies & great grandkiddies will undoubtedly look like:
I think some of these would even give the corgis a run for their money. At least Her Maj should be happy with this future litter of royals as it will make their fox-hunting adventures even more of a blood sport...perhaps even a blood and bone sport! But I digress, as I must now disclose an article of the utmost importance, something we must not take lightly about where the monarchy is heading: As I'm sure you have realised, this article came to us via the Viz comic, a great bastion of very important advice, information and insights. And it's not like that would ever lie to us...isn't that right, kiddies?...

I have never heard that story mate. The biggest hit Buckingham Palace took during WW2 was the royal chapel which was completely destroyed and never rebuilt.
