Chris Cornell. Undoubtedly wrote & performed one of my top Bond Theme Tunes. Did we know his name? Yup, certainly did..... RIP Chris.

FWIW - Loved his acoustic cover of MJ's 'Billie Jean' too.

He was also great in Oliver Stone's U Turn, Bill Paxton's Frailty and John Boorman's Emerald Forest. Solid actor

The Guardian is reporting that Chris Cornell's cause of death was suicide by hanging.
Very saddening to hear.

Doesn't seem possible that Chris has now left us but what hell of legacy in his music he has left behind for us. We may never know what truly made him take such an shocking and unexpected step when having only played several hours before and I am sure there will be some facts of the inquest & that the family may wish to keep private and that has to be respected by all of us,
Chris, you were an inspiration to many of us but RIP and thoughts love and condolences to all of his friends and family 52 is no age but gone way too soon Music has lost such an incredible and unique talent.
