If people get comfort from 'whatever' they believe in, that should be good enough for anyone. (In my opinion)

Just for that, I'm going to be interred or cremated to the sound of The Carpenters. If you aren't allowed to express your crap musical taste when you're about to be planted, when can you?

Just heard in the local news down here that Honda are down in the same sh*tlane as Toyota recalling cars. What the hell are these clowns been thinking?

It's all about the cost, innit? You need to cut costs down, so Quality Assurance goes down in the sewer. So much for the the QA the MBAs in the snazzy suits did in the university eh?

Re funerals-if its any consolation Jewish people don't play music and as far as I know aren't cremated-I've never been to one and I don't know anyone that has been cremated-in my religion you go whole with all organs intact. I think playing music is okay but it would make me more upset-unless of course it was my own but then again I wouldn't because I wouldn't want people or family to feel even more upset.
If I was the sort that wanted music I would maybe have Going Underground by the Jam

One thing is for sure, the car in front won't be a Toyota and is it a coincidence that the chairman of Toyota is a Mr Toyoda? Only one letter out but spooky to me.

Yeah very droll, I meant they don't play songs at funerals obviously there are Jewish musicians-mind you most of those would be better than having to listen to Kletzmer music(a mix of folk and jazz)-that would be a nightmare.

I will let any Toyota be the car in front then I will leave it lots and lots of space. It can do whatever its gonna do and I'll sit back and watch from a safe distance.

But Toyota are taking a bit more stick than is quite fair. Their conduct is way better than that of the Ford Motor Company over their notorious Pinto, whose petrol tank was vulnerable to rupture in fairly low impact collisions and doors liable to distort and stick under the same forces. It became known as ''the barbeque which seats four.'' Ford had an internal memo in which an un-named executive advised that recall costs were high and, on his projection of likely casualties, it would be cheaper to pay compensation to the relatives of their torched customers instead.
