Triple Martini - 20.
Antonio Caldara / Maria Cristina Kiehr, "Maddalena ai piedi di Christo", 1996. Tom Waits, "Small Change", 1976. Santana, "Borboletta", 1974. Baroque end of summer w/ blue martini, mystic g-strings & tablas. Our friend Trailmaster posted twice about Antonio Caldara, here and here. I discovered this oratorio a few nights ago on radio : soprano singer Maria Christina Kiehr made me blood, sweat & tears. Just perfect. Tom Waits is our modern baroque and Santana's percussion all team is still the reason why I also drink margaritas. Caldara/Kiehr -In lagrime stemprato Tom Waits -Tom Traubert's Blues Santana -Flor De Canela/Promise Of A Fisherman

One of my exes was completely enamored with Mike Tramp. I, on the other hand, was sporting a chub for Vito Bratta. Old school goods from the (potentially, come 2018) new Senator from Michigan Kid Rock All Summer Long Ahhhh.......many memories from the lake with this tune.

Post Motown compilation. Not a massive fan of warbling female soul singers but Gladys Knight is the exception. I could listen to her voice all day long. |

Ferdinand Herold was a lesser known French composer during the late Classical period into the beginning of the Romance period(1825-1925). He mostly composed operas, ballets and piano music. He only composed a few other instrumental works. My disc has two of his symphonies and two opera overtures.
