NTF = No Model Thread found. We've searched for a models thread and haven't found one. In this case if you have enough material of the model please create a model thread in the appropriate section and post the corner there Link back to the ID request and we can update things. Queries on the amount of material needed to start a thread should be addressed to the section the thread will be created in...E.g. modern models, classic pornstars, softcore etc. Please refer to the rules for each subsection.

NIT = Content provided for the ID request does not exist in the models thread. We encourage you to post that content into her thread.

NNM = No New Material. The image used for the ID request already exists in the model's thread. Unless the image is of larger resolution and better quality ... Then it may be seen as a duplicate. Please check with the relevant section before posting it.

TNC = Model Thread Not Checked. We haven't checked the models thread for the image existing in it. Likelihood is the thread is massive and we simply do not have the manpower to check every post in the thread. We encourage the ID requester and solver to post the images to the model thread where possible. That's the best place for images.... Not sat to rot in MIR and our bins

SC = Screen Caps. Content posted as an ID request is screen caps. These are generally not wanted as posts in model threads.

PMT - this will eventually move to the Pending Models Thread subsection. When we have an ID that is solved but no model thread, and people post more content to it, eventually there will be enough material to justify a models thread being created.

Ultimately... What we would like people to do is once the ID is solved and we have a models thread for the ID.... Please contribute to that thread. The fans of that model will appreciate it

I think I've covered everything.... But my colleagues may be better at explaining it or elaborating.

As a side note, the tagging is for us moderators. Please do not modify your thread titles. Also if you don't understand the tags fully.... Again it's moderator use so don't worry about them. The biggest thing to take away is:

If you've got content.... Please post it to the models thread.

If a thread doesn't exist.... Consider the section rules and then create one and post all you have.

That's how we'll evolve

Indeed they are for mod. use, but if members understand them they can put some of them to good use, and potentially everyone will benefit. NIT is a signal that there's an opening to post that content in the model's thread. Likewise, TNC is a signal that it may be wise/worthwhile first checking the model's thread oneself... perhaps to help solidify/resolve an id or simply prior to posting.

edit: is it worth amending the SC tag to give it one more letter, maybe SCP? That way it can be returned by searches, whereas I think a 2-letter string is too short for searches? /shrug/ Not sure why one would want to search for screen caps tags but better to start out with a searchable pattern than to only discover later that it would have been helpful after all? /shrug/

You can search them with SC, because of the bracket.

Your search for "SC]" will deliver all that what you want.

You have to search even the three letter tags with the closing bracket.
Otherwise you get: "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "

Hi guys. I have a question that I hope hasn't been asked, and I want to ask it because I respect this forum, and you guys, too much to not get this right. I've read all the rules of this section and gone through all the pages of this thread, and the most I could find that came close to what I am about to ask was this post:

So my question is a variation of what was asked. I have four video clips I will be submitting (not all at once obviously) for an ID request in the near future, because I've had them for a while and cannot figure out who the women in the videos are (been trying hard though on my own). But where I find the confusion is they are lesbian scenes. Three of the video clips have two girls in the scene, one will have three in one scene. At that point I wouldn't know which model I would like to be requested exactly. So if I submit screenshots of the clip, can I request that someone ID any (so, really, all) of the girls in the clip? But if they ID all of the girls, will that be fair? Since the rules are that only one model be requested per thread. But since, say I request the video that has 3 girls in it, they all share that same scene, so will that still count as three on one thread? Man, I hope I made this clear. Hopefully I didn't lose you guys. Like I said I've read through many of the rules and this thread and no one has asked this exact question. If they have, I completely missed it and I apologize. Thanks.

Thanks for reading the rules and asking first; we're not used to that!

We have the one model per request for a reason. It's confusing for the members (and us) to be discussing physical traits of more than one model at a time and when we process the thread later we can't send it to more than one place. You are welcome to post the same screen caps in multiple separate threads but you must identify which girl each thread is for. Hair color, hair style, or anything which distinguishes her from the rest. You could also circle her, use an arrow, or whatever you wish.

An alternative is to post the caps in the Classic or Modern Movie ID Request sections. Once you have the film identified the models will probably be also.

... although I (now) much prefer having all of a model's scans in her thread, this being just one such reason.
