A VEF friend recently drew my attention to ‘Matinee Idyll’, in which there is a delicious image of Kelly’s face embedded in the firm cheeks of Julian’s ass, clearly inserting her tongue in the direction of his anus. It's a great example of how Penthouse encouraged us to explore all of the options of sexual pleasure and validated our sexual predilections, including same-sex attraction.
  It reminded me of an earlier example – and one of my most favourite images – from a beautiful set photographed by Carl Wachter, which was originally published in the December 1991 issue as 'Romances with Wolves'. But it was in Penthouse Letters (March, 1995) that they first printed the most explicit image of anilingus I had seen up to that point, in a fresh selection from the shoot re-named 'Thom and Edie'. I will never forget the first time I saw it: a gloriously raunchy shot of them both on all fours, his ass cheeks spread wide, and her tongue deep inside him, rimming with relish. I almost came on the spot. Some years ago I found and downloaded some fantastic hi-res images of this shoot from Penthouse online, but strangely that particular image wasn’t among them.
