To the thread's title: No, I don't. I don't want to imagine what lays under the nailtips after a day outside. I mean I don't lick the rubber band of a moving staircase neither..

This had stopped me so far visiting one of those studios and ask for it.

I've had several. After getting diagnosed with Type II diabetes in the early '00's, my doctor suggested I have my feet checked for wounds. I went to a downtown podiatrist who suggested I come to them to have my toes trimmed rather than doing it myself and risking cutting myself and causing an infection. They sit you down and put your feet in this tall metal jacuzzi tub with warm water. You get to sit there with a magazine and a bottle of water. I see why ladies like these salons so much now. Then after about 20 minutes, they dry your feet and with your toenails now soft and malleable, they can easily cut them without fear of flying projectiles. When they finish, they rub semi-hot oil on your feet (my favorite part). That's why you realize how erogenous your feet can be. I mean how often do you have someone else rubbing your feet. Before that, I could count the number of foot rubs I've gotten on one hand and still count to five. I should be going every month but I still only find myself going maybe 2x a year. It's nice treat though. Go check it out. You'll enjoy it and might even have to have a smoke afterwards. Nail polish is optional.

Yes. And they're awesome. The place Mrs. Winebeavis takes me to brings me drinks while some nice young Vietnamese gal goes crazy on my feet. It's kinda nice. No need to ever clip your own toenails ever again.

Nah, on the serious side, I admit I didn't know there was such a service and yes I was just too afraid to walk in and ask.

Nope,not anymore. I did 'till I was about 21, then I took up playing the flamenco guitar seriously, and for that you need a full set of nails! So my nails are quite long ( the nail on my little finger on my right hand is over 8mm long!

). I am also a blackmsith, and when, as sometimes happens I do break one I cry like a baby!!

they take so long to grow back again, so guitar playing goes out of the window for a while then.......

My claws.....

Awesome for scratching too!!
