Published by Marvel on August 1, 1976.

At the time when I bought this comic (in my late teens), I shamefully thought the artwork was ugly.
Looking back with the hindsight of time, and the knowledge of Jack "King" Kirby's contribution to comics, I can't think of anyone else more appropriate to work on Cap's "SPECIAL BICENTENNIAL ISSUE", fittingly released on the 200th anniversary of the United States of America...

I was younger than that but I felt the same way then. Jack's still not my favorite artist but I have a far better grip on his greatness now than I did then.

the ideas of multiple covers for comic books (or any other magazine...) Dynamite is in the habit of doing this now for just about all of their books.

I'm sure that I didn't find all of the covers for issues 4 and 6, and there were none for issue 5. These do not include at least of couple of 'black bag' ones...

Doomsday Clock #1
To be released by DC Comics on November 2017

"Doomsday Clock" is a 12-issue maxiseries whereby the Watchmen finally enters the mainstream DC Universe (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc).

Naturally DC has arranged the dreaded "variant" covers for this number one issue, including a lenticular cover featuring Rorschach.

According to the Forbidden Planet comic shop, they will be opening their London Megastore at 11:57pm on Tuesday 21st November, so you can be the first to get Doomsday Clock issue 1.

Dear DC - PLEASE don't let this comic suck....
