How would you save Playboy? - Page 11

The photoshoot pages stick together and have micro-holes in them, last time I checked PB. They also seem thinner and more easily creased. change this.

Also super frustrating is showing spreads across two pages - make them horizontal or a fold out.

Also don't crop out models feet.

Include a clear face on full frontal bare breasted shot of celebs who shoot. That's artistic!

More shoots that have the vibe of the 60s and 70s shoots - less glossy more natural light. More casual shots. More interesting insights into the girls. If you interview a girl right she's super interesting.

More casual nudes throughout the magazine. there shouldn't be dozens of pages like a literary magazine or bogus FHM style.

Better more radical cultural articles like in the 60s and 70s.

More natural beauties. More creative set ups for pictorials.

Find more cool artists to do cartoons. Recruit a new breed of culturally savvy people plus the sexy 60's and 70's inspired aesthetic.

Its just lack of imagination that keeps the magazine from being a talking point. It has the brand name and position to do huge things.

Frankly, the magazine is been surpassed on the cheesecake front by other magazines, and has run out of interesting people to interview. Yes, I did use to read PB for the articles - after all, only around 10% of the content was naked girls and I could always do my monkey spanking to something like Club. So let's be honest - the magazine is pretty much fucked, and no attempt to improve matters - more fake tits, harder photoshoots, whatever - will save it.

The Playboy brand however is going from strength to strength - which is rather unfortunate as it is no longer an adult brand - as it should be - but one that is being foisted on young girls that don't know any better.

I am a fan of porn, yes - but I believe Playboy is an outdated monster that has left its real mission - to entertain adult males - long behind.

I'm totaly agree, now Playboy suck. I think Playboy need new blood with fresh idea. Hefner is to old for this era.

Playboy has become way too commercial, one of my neighbours has a tarted up citreon saxo in gold and it has the Playboy logo on it in black on the front bumper and both side panels..Twat lol

I subscribed for a year or two back in the 90's (only because they offered a massive discount on an already low subscription price), and the only other one I bought was a few years back, and only because it had an interview with Bettie Page (I didn't even get it for the pics! LOL). I don't know if it's worth saving...

There's an enormous archive if Playmate images dating way back, some of which would have been considered too explicit at the time.These would be sought by fans of the models.

Maybe its because it was my formative period, but I can still remeber all (I think) the CFs from that era and further into the past. A current CF could pass me in the street and I wouldn't know. They don't have anything that makes them stand out from the crowd. Instantly forgetable.
Change this downward spiral and PB may have a future.
