The murder of Playboy Bunny girl model Eve Stratford in 1975 is yet to be solved

Dramatic links between two notorious unsolved murders dating back more than 30 years were revealed using new DNA Techniques.
Scotland Yard had uncovered DNA evidence linking the 1975 killing of Playboy Bunny girl model Eve Stratford with the murder of schoolgirl Lynne Weedon six months later.
The extraordinary breakthrough had been made because of advances in DNA technology. An inquiry by a cold case review group revealed the link.
Detectives have re-opened both cases and say they are hunting a brutal sex killer who used terrifying violence to commit both murders.
They are not ruling out the possibility that he has committed other unsolved killings.
Eve Stratford, 22, a glamour model, was raped and killed in her home in Leyton in March 1975.
Detectives believe she may have known her killer and invited him into the flat she shared with her pop singer boyfriend.
Her body was found with a nylon stocking tied around one ankle and a scarf binding her hands behind her back.
The Bunny girl, who worked at the Playboy Club in Park Lane where she had been pictured with Eric Morecambe and Sid James, had her throat cut between eight and 12 times.

Later that year, in September, Lynne Weedon was beaten over the head with a blunt object as she took a short-cut to her home in Hounslow. She was then thrown over a fence into the grounds of an electricity sub-station before being raped and left for dead.

not from the Mayfair photo shoot ,
plus they are a little soft-focus in a different style
whilst the background is totally different to the
adult Glamour Magazine Mayfair from 1975 -

according to the Sunday Times 2009 article
" Annie Walker thought of Eve as a great modelling prospect, and sent her to the photographer Peter Pugh-Cook a couple of weeks before her murder to take some “nude pin-up” photographs for a magazine in South Africa ".

so I don't know if any reader saw these appear anywhere in South Africa in 1975/76 ?


but these are the 3 OF the 4 that Late Night Extra
released in the copy of LNE V6 N1 I bought from Germany
last week ............

this is a previously unknown photo taken from
the article from the August 1978 issue
of True Detective magazine about Eve's murder.

This is the Sphere book cover where she is depicted just before
her untimely death - this is one of her last photos
I have been searching for ages trying to find her appearance
as I read the Sunday Times artickle which said she did a
paperback cover like Rachel Broome of Mayfair
