Hi I'm Archie the Aardvark. I live in the two thirds of the southern half of Africa. I sometimes am mistaken for an ant-eater. Though I do eat ants I get them by using my sharp claws to dig out their ant hills and then just gobble them up. My numbers throughout Africa are steadily decreasing because of climate changes. I make my home in deep burrows in the dirt which I have dug out with my claws,and I do all my feeding at night. Life is good
