I've been using IB for over 4 years with no problems at all.
IB has the most friendly user system I have encountered. Regarding images that come back as banned, simply re-name them without any type of model description [numbers only work best] and just re-up, works for me 99.9% of the time. IV I feel is very odd with its uploading page, to create a gallery is just short of rocket science. Think its run by 6 Hippies with a 4 hose Hookah. [Dude its your turn to run the system] |

I'm sure none of us know exactly how any of them really operate
Imagebams pics for life a case in point I just trawled through 300 pages of my oldest material deleted 550 images over 11 pages from multiple galleries posted on VEF and then came across a gallery i hadnt even uploaded to the forum that was completely intact - originally set-up - start of 2009. 3500x 8 ravers uniform scans for 2 models + contents page - originally posted by Oheretic (rs link now dead) - blows the inactivity deletion theory right out of the water http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...08&postcount=5 Its a lottery I'd imagine posting full sets of perfect 10 would be the stupidest thing you could do given their close to the most litigious copyright owners online I've seen one gallery of mine just recently which said - 1 item had been removed It was years before that something similar occured If the real heat that came for the filehosts comes their way they will get more active You simply dont rely on anything in the cloud if you value it Last edited by buttsie; July 8th, 2014 at 08:34 AM.. I have had the problem with images banned on only 1 single subject...Sondra Holloway the Playboy housewife series. Imagebam has never deleted any pictures of mine and I don't lose a second of sleep thinking they will delete my account due to trying to uploading banned pictures 1 or two times.
Speaking of deleting, is Imagebam having a bug right now. I thought you could bring up a gallery in the past...I have hundreds there...and delete an individual picture. i thought a red x used to appear in the corner that you could click on to delete that one single picture from the thumbnails of pictures in the gallery you are viewing. Am I remembering wrong or is Imagebam having a problem? |

Unfortunately you cant delete from within a gallery but you can delete the entire gallery and re-up
You delete individual images when viewing via image organizer Its probably a safe guard because any of us can view the gallery edit - changing comment keeping some sort of record ie text file and noting the date posted and keeping a running record of how many images you've uploaded is about the only way to work out what page the image will be on quickly Divide the running total by 50 (number of image per page) should lead you to the right page Keeping dates of when posted is always useful for things like the cluster crash which lost 2 weeks worth of posting Last edited by buttsie; July 10th, 2014 at 03:44 AM.. Another undesired feature of Imagebam
Thanks, Buttsie. I know you must be right because I surely can't find a way to delete an image in a gallery but I could have sworn they used to have that option. I did know you could bring up the ordered stream but I have 36 pages of images, some albums having maybe 150 images so yeah, I've thousands and thousands of pictures...not practical for me to delete a picture loaded a long time ago if I can't narrow it down by gallery.
Which brings me to my #1 pet peeve on Imagebam. I have never found a way to order alphabetically the galleries. Say I want to add a picture to the Dian Parkinson album. I have to look through the list of all old albums in the order they were built...newest at the top, oldest at the bottom. Surely, there must be a subscription/paying version of Imagebam because that seems like a no brainer even on a free version. You should be able to simply bring up the names of the galleries in alphabetical order. As a programmer, shouldn't be rocket science to do that...obviously you don't move all the pictures around, you simply have pointers to the albums and reorder them. |

Simple solution for mine
Set-up a new gallery and keep its details with the entire set No scrolling involved looking for galleries and you wont see all your hard work destroyed if imagebam ever divide all the galleries AGAIN They did it once to reduce the load on the servers - Just a guess I wont be surprised to see it re-occur given the size of the HQ picture picture sets being uploaded to it Long term for imagebam galleries - every gallery starts with a number followed by a - and then the description The edit function for titles has its uses Its easier to scroll down to 989 than search through astlawnnvsdfz if you keep records of its location in your own a to z of models galleries in what ever form suits you best...text,file, paper etc The work involved which isnt small is overhauling the existing set-up - titles can be edited A laborius job which might all come to nothing if imagebam do another divide the galleries Personally i'll be taking no notice of the imagehost listings be it imagebam imagevenue or who ever and relying on my own system and simply opening another new gallery everytime something new arrives Last edited by buttsie; July 10th, 2014 at 10:49 AM.. Assuming your not running something like no script and havent allowed imagebam
smartest thing you can do is disable all your add-ons help / restart with add-ons disabled If you get through you'll know straight away one of them is the issue If not keep using opera It can be made as secure as firefox http://www.techsupportalert.com/cont...y-concerns.htm |
