I would be sitting on my sofa staring into the corner out of habit, I complain about the content but I would miss it, especialy teletext for the news and sport.

I`m not saying throw the television away , in fact that`s the last thing i`d advocate because if a man's home is his castle then his TV is certainly the ideal house mate. No i`m just saying why do we have to pay to watch something that should be as free here as it is in the rest of the world. Ok if you want to view sky programmes that's one thing , but to be forced to fund BBC9 !, or those dancing / singing / cooking / farting shows they churn out ??? Also it`s not as if the bulk of the actual money goes into decent programming,as it mainly goes into dumbed down mentalities ,gilt edged pensions ,their vast over stuffed pockets , useless digital and radio stations and jolly junkets for the board ex`s !. Evan Davis showing the true smug face of the Bullshit Britain Corporation "Phew , there i feel better now "

I think they got the idea from one of those damned holiday programmes and thought it would be nice to have a holiday home. Or maybe the political staff told them how well it works with the EU shunting between Brussels and Strasbourg with European tax-payers footing the bill. The bigger the corporation the larger the waste and how further away from reality the leaders seem to become.
