Sounds like a terrible tragedy and if he did it, he deserves to be skinned alive (and then be sprinkled with a mixture of salt and vinegar for weeks, or whatever hurts the most)

But you're also assuming here that only illegal immigrants are horrible murderers and legal immigrants and regular Americans could never commit heinous crimes, and that with a wall no more such crimes could happen anymore. And that will not be the case.

I didn't say all illegal immigrants are murderers.

Many of them are honest hard working people doing jobs we Americans will not do.

But if they want to come to this country and work, come here legally.

Don't come here illegally.

This country has never turned away anyone who wants to come here and work and prosper.

Try going to Mexico or Nicaragua or any central and south America country illegally.

You will not be treated so nice like we treat illegal aliens here.

Put you in a nice air conditioned building, give you 3 free meals a day, running water, hot showers, free medical care, English classes, etc etc while you are waiting for your case to go through the system and for the court to decide whether to let you stay or to deport you and yet some folks bitch and call that cruel and unusual punishment.

Better than them living on the streets and going hungry and dirty and falling ill.

Go to Switzerland on vacation.

Then try to stay when your vacation visa is up.

See what they will do to you there.

As for building "The Wall", I understand the emotional appeal of it but it wouldn't do sh*t about illegal immigration into the US. I agree there are problems with current US immigration policies but going to a racist, isolationist, "let no one in" approach won't fix them. Neither will simply "throwing the borders open". Fixing the issues isn't going to be easy, pretty or simple, which means the biggest problem is that no one in power is willing to do the hard, dirty work of overhauling the system to put REAL fixes in place.

Considering it went for a month and they didn't find a body, I was hoping she was still alive like in the Elizabeth Smart case.

According to the 48-page indictment, the Hunters illegally used campaign money to pay for expenses that they could not otherwise afford from 2009 through 2016. The purchases allegedly included family vacations to Italy, Hawaii, Phoenix and Boise, Idaho; school tuition; dental work; theater tickets; and domestic and international travel for almost a dozen relatives. The Hunters also spent tens of thousands of dollars on smaller purchases, including fast food, movie tickets, golf outings, video games, coffee, groceries, home utilities, and expensive meals, the indictment alleged.
