Joyce Gibson Mandel

Hi all.

Let's talk about her monumental career, collecting her appearances, and clear up the facts. Let's share what we know about her available pictures, and unearth the hidden treasures. I'm a devoted collector too.

I'd say there were very few "bigger" and / or more important busty models from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Maybe Uschi and Roberta or Candy, in my opinion. But beyond busty stature there are just very few women who could compete for being more beautiful than Joyce.

We can also talk about her ALEXIS LOVE period and all other aspects of her career as well.

Re: collecting Joyce... I am considering a possible large photo book and art project covering her career mostly through the 60's to 80's. For this group my hope is to create and share a listing of every appearance that I either have or know about and find out any others that I don't know about from you all.

So here is the FIRST FACT TO CORRECT.

Her earliest credit for appearing in the film TR BASKIN is incorrect.

I got a copy of the DVD. The actress in the film playing the part which is credited as Joyce Mandel is definitely not Joyce. Not even close.
They simply have the same name.

It's my best guess that this early credit in a mainstream film with Candice Bergen looked good for Joyce's resumé, so they just left it uncorrected. As some point I am thinking of editing this on IMDB but I wanted to post the correct info here first.

(Also if anyone could DM me on getting better on this site. This forum won't upload my pics for these comments ... and other help navigating the site would be appreciated. I have been on here for years but am a bit of a ludite with navigation sometimes. Thanks.)

Might look at "Boobpedia" for the "Joyce Gibson" listing and see if that gives you any new info.
For posting images here, you need to use an image site. I have turned to using PixHost.to but others are in use as well.
At 66, she was taken from us far too soon.

Thanks. Definitely looking for other collectors. I have lots of extra mags and rare photos to share or trade. Did anyone belong to her fan club before she passed?
