Perhaps all these social networks should have a cooling off period after you type in your pearls of wisdom, and send it back to you to re read and edit / delete. I am probably wrong here but just because some one sitting in front of a television in his vest and pants thinks that his views are important and should be heard by the world does not make it true

Re Romney-he is an idiot and I don't think that Obama will lose in November, at least half the world hopes not. He comes here on a 'charm offensive' and manages to insult the British and slag off London's Games-not the best thing for a presidential candidate to do to an ally and then goes to Israel and manages to insult the Palestinians-but if that was his idea of Anglo-US relations, god help us if he ever became President.

I think Romney is more concerned with capturing the Jewish vote in the USA - it goes down well with them [and with me] to insult the Palestinians.

American Jews perceive Obama as favouring the Palestinians.

Sadly it's not helped by the media and sponsors and over enthusiastic expectations based on our success in Beijing but there's still plenty time for individuals and teams to rise to the challenge.

Personally I've bungy jumped off a 273ft high bridge but I'd panic like mad if I was asked to jump headfirst off a 10m diving platform and if I did the splash would probably swamp the first five rows of the audience. Better luck this weekend in the individuals Tom.
