Emma Thompson is officially the biggest eeejit ever.

Flying first class 5000 miles to lecture us about climate change and that priceless line about being in an island of sanity while stood on a pink boat in Oxford circus have got me bursting out laughing to myself.

Emma you're a fekkin eejit but you've made me smile !

I think its true but no doubt a polytechnracy ( a collective group of ) police officers would no doubt disagree.

At least 137 people have been killed and hundreds more injured in explosions at churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, police and hospital sources say.

At least six explosions were reported. Three churches in Negombo, Batticaloa and Colombo's Kochchikade district were targeted during Easter services.

The Shangri-La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury hotels, all in Colombo, were also hit.

Easter Sunday is one of the major feasts in the Christian calendar.

No group has yet said it was responsible.

While it sounds hypocritical, it is perfectly possible to improve the environment by flying, if you do it right.

Same for Al Gore, probably. It's the end balance that counts (spend some CO2 in order to prevent more CO2)

Just admit that you all don't like activists (hey i get it, they are annoying)

Oh and Thompson doesn't need to do anything to be annoying except breathe.

It's possible also to drive an Austin Ambassador y reg in an eco friendly way too.
Just try convincing Sadiq Khan that though.
Heck I would have joined Emma on her pink boat protesting about the environment if it was still possible to get a tank full of 4 star leaded petrol inside the M25.

Her on that pink boat with a fawn coloured Ambassador parked next to it.
That would be an island of sanity.

To disperse the protesters we need one of the following things to happen.....

Trump, May, Merkle and Putin etc to get around the table and set out a plan to cut emissions by half instantly.

Or...
Us the consumer to boycott buying new goods unless they're eco friendly.

Or....
A good downpoar of rain which I believe is forecast mid week.

Call me a cynic but I'm guessing the latter.
