Default Favourite Vehicles

What is your favourite vehicle ?It can be anything car, motorbike, tractor etc.I have chosen an aeroplaneThe Sopwith F1 biplane, known to the men who flew it and to posterity as The Sopwith Camel.

The camel was tricky and dangerous to fly but once mastered it could kill anything in the sky.

I`m not a big car fan, but I love aeroplanes, especially WW-2 planes. My favourite is Junkers-87, better known as Stuka. Why? Because of that horrible noise caused by "Jericho trumpets" when it dived, It showed same kind of imagination as Scottish armies with bagpipes causing fear and terror among enemy troops, remarkable plane.

For transportation I prefer bicycle:

Default Supermarine Spitfire

This clip is amusing but also conveys something of this aircraft's unique presence, possibly the most beautiful of killing machines. I can never hear the noise of a Merlin engine without a stirring of emotions: it is an engineering masterpiece and a symphony of Britain's national defiance in her darkest moment.

It is 20 years since I saw a Spitfire flying and even the RAF's own Battle of Britain Flight specimin hardly ever flies any more. But if you ever see one in the air it is a deathbed memory, never ever forgotten.

Built by George Barris of BARRIS KUSTOMS, CA for the 1977 movie, The Car.
It is based on a 1969-71 Lincoln Continental Mark III.
